Worst customer service ever lied through out the Whole experience. Picked up our house full of furniture 8 weeks ago was told by Le Lee our furniture will be in Perth this week today they have gone bankrupt . Have just found out container has been sitting at castle hill for 8 weeks . I’m hoping the sheriff will let us in to open the container my gut tells me it will be empty , Thieving mongrals .
Under no circumstances would I ever recommend Rham Transport. They were by far the most inexperienced/incompetent removalists I have had the misfortune to engage. In a move from Sydney's inner west to eastern suburbs (ie not far!) we had three wardrobes and a dining table badly damaged. Plus the freshly painted home we moved into was marked by their negligence.
Still awaiting response re compensation from management after providing a comprehensive set of photographic evidence and in the interim have initiated contact with Dept of Fair Trading.
It was a 2 bed unit to unit move and the staff were excellent!! Very professional. Kirat and Robin were extremely helpful and went out of the way to help and were still smiling at the end of 7 hours bearing in mind that there was no lift and I moved to second floor and they had to travel to Newcastle after my job. I wanted to thank Kirat and Robin by offering some financial reward but they declined that.
I will recommend Rham transport without second thoughts!!
Moved my 2 bedroom household items from Blacktown NSW to a storage in Canberra . Guys who turned up are not professionals and didn't have proper equipments to load item to their truck. They'd inappropriately lifted my expensive reclainer couch and damaged it . Secondly they stole my Xbox which was in the original packing !! .when I claimed for it no proper response from them . I won't recommend their service and try them on ur own risk . I am reporting this incident to police and fair trade Australia .
I choose Rham Transport thinking I was able to save some money. They sent 2 guys that very small built, still students and very slow to move. With dismantled items which I have done myself for bed, a medium lounge, chairs and a few boxes, I was charged for 4.5 hours which they asked for in advance and estimation from the mover. When the moving is finished, it only took 3.5 hours. They also charge for half hour going back to base. I asked for the extra .0.5 hours to be refunded but they refused rudely. I told them that it should be refunded or I will report them to Fair Trading, and they even threatened me for compensation of inconvenience!! This is how they do cash grab from customers. I would say just hire professional movers who might be 10 AUD more/hour who can move faster without obvious stalling. Their tactic is that they move too slow so you pay for more hours. I will not choose this Movers again!
They did my move 2 weeks ago. Movers were on time and friendly but their English wasn't great. They could not find the house even though they had the address and I had shown them exactly where to go on google maps. They were lost and calling me for 15 minutes. I requested my lounge to be wrapped as its white when I booked and when they arrived they didn't bother. they simply put a blanket over sectioned and it arrived dirty!
Very cheap service but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't use them again.
BE WARNED!!! If I could give 0 stars I could!! DO NOT BOOK IF YOU VALUE YOUR ITEMS!!!
This company damaged my brand new fridge and washing machine in transit from Sydney to Queensland and when I wouldn't sign the delivery sheet because of the conditions of the items they proceeded to fake my signature on the delivery docket via PDF acrobat before forwarding it to me. They do not take care with items at all and even stacked wooden table legs on top of a washing machine with a glass top! They also knocked off the left front wheel from the bottom of the fridge and made absolutely no mention of it! I had to hire someone to replace it.
I am now in the process of filing a complaint via fair trading which is your only recourse as they will ignore your complaints. Don’t make the same mistake I made. PLEASE STAY AWAY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!
I had two men come and move my 1 bedroom unit. They took forever (3 hours) to load my furniture. I started helping them as they were taking ages. I had made 2 x trips to the van whilst they had done 1 and when I got there they were on their phones. When I questioned them they said that it took ages to wrap up the glass.
I gave them the phone number of my boyfriend who was waiting at the other end and they didn't call him until I arrived 1/2 hour later. It took us 1 hour to unload the van..
My couch was dirty and is now stained and they broke the BBQ stand and the fly screen. I was not happy with the job and would not recommend them.
AWESOME SERVICE! Normally don't write reviews, but it has been a 3-year process to relocate. I needed to hire a mover to downsize from my home to storage and then relocate to a new place. I discovered a moving company who cares! Met my expectations and requests, making moving a smooth transition. Aseem and his team were there making sure everything went according to plan and on time! Thank you Rham Transport Movers!!
Hiring them was the biggest mistake of my move. Got 2 movers, 1 guy looked malnourished, the other was a lazy sloucher who did nothing but strut around with an attitude like he needed satin gloves and a frilly frock before he would even agree to move. A 2 bedder move of 1 km distance took 7 hours including my pitching in! And they had the ball to charge for 7.45 hours under goodness knows what pretext.
This company is a complete con job. DO NOT move with them, I'm planning to take them to fair works.
Please do not try to cut corners, get yourself a proper professional mover.
We choose Rham transport for our short move across town. They sent 2 guys and a truck. The main issue with the service was how slow it was. 5 1/2 hours for a 1BR move across town (8KM). I realized early on I was going to have to pitch in and help. If not for this it would have taken much longer.
We had 20 boxes and 15 pieces of furniture plus a few odds and ends.
While one guy made a solid effort the other guy spent much of his time in the truck packing and making an inventory of items.
Moving is a tough occupation, maybe thankless at times, but I expect a motivated and prepared crew. I wouldn't use them again.
Worst company ever, go elsewhere. Yes they may be a little cheaper than the competition but the little savings you save here will cost you a ton elsewhere. The x2 movers were rude and did not answer any questions I had, they spoke another language the whole time and did not even acknowledge our presence. They were EXTREMELY rough with our belongings and with our house. They hit multiple walls when moving things into rooms and we didn't notice until they left that they had left 3 MASSIVE holes in 3 different rooms of the house. The ceilings and tiles were all scratched from their laziness and them not wishing to lift furniture up from the ground but drag it instead. And to top it all off, they did not have the right equipment to move our stuff. Their equipment broke and our appliances got damaged as a result. It was especially hilarious when they told me that wasn't their fault but ours cause our appliance was heavier than they expected so of course took no responsibility for any of the damages. When I called to complain, the man I spoke to pretty much said tough luck. So go elsewhere, this guys are the worst and they will not take care of your things.
The whole experience was terrible and cost me $1300. I provided a thorough detailed list of items to be moved and they quoted me for two trucks and three men and having moved with removalists many times, expected their calculation to do this in one trip. They took the wrong details for the drop off point (they had my school/workplace address in Cranebrook 50kms away when I was only moving two suburbs away!!). The inventory of items was far less to move on the day than I had originally identified to the company as my son and I did two trips per day taking bags and boxes in my car for almost two weeks and I sold a number of items of furniture including my couch and had a new couch and bookcase delivered to the unit the week before. Three skinny students turned up to move us from a house with no steps into a three bedroom unit with a large lift. They took eight hours (I’ve had a four bedroom house moved in that time before) and could not fit everything into the trucks - they said it was just the artworks/paintings so I thought I’d just do this myself rather than be charged extra time for their wrong calculation. They also brought a huge wooden garden chair I had specifically said not to bring and I had to take back myself. So, when I went back to the original house to clean the next day I found they had left so much more than artwork - two tvs, microwave, small furnishings, boxes, pot plants, garden tools and all manner of items I could not possibly do by myself in my hatchback. To add insult to injury, they had turned half the boxes upside down and broke numerous ceramics and glassware. Then I was charged for a full hour when they had finished fifteen minutes sooner (that’s almost $40 at $150 per hour). When I stated my dissatisfaction when I called the next day, I was told that he was just the after hours person and to call back on Monday. Knowing I only had the Monday off work and needed to vacate the house, I called Rham and outlined all the issues and asked they send someone that afternoon. They said they were told it was only artworks and infuriated I offered to send them photos of what was left behind. They told me they’d speak to the manager and get back to me. Two hours later I called them back they said they could send someone (at my expense) but not until Tuesday lunchtime. Again infuriated, I stated I could not take more time off work as a single working mother and no, I had no one else who could be there and could you please stop saying to me “I understand” when you clearly don’t - and surely they could go out of their way given they had made so many errors, to fix the problem. They insisted that they could only do Tuesday lunchtime and so I said I could not get there until 4pm Tuesday but they would not budge. So, $1300 later, on a move that with another company easily would have been done in five hours, broken items, me having to return a huge piece of furniture they were told not to bring, over charged and then I had to go and pay someone another $200 to finish the job - I will NEVER use Rham again and neither should you!
My partner and I were not kept updated on when they would pick up items to be moved. I was told I would get confirmation a week before, then that changed to 3days before, then It was confirmed the night before that they would pick up the next day. On the day of pick up a time was not given accurately. First it was noon, then 3pm, then 6pm and finally it was picked up close to 7pm.
Communication was poor when dropping off items which included the time they would drop said items off and what location even when the correct address was provided.
The main reason why I am giving a one star review is because I spoke to a manager about my problems with the communication about times and he said he would find out why this happened and get back to me. He never did. If you had at least got back to me with an apology then maybe a two star review would be warranted.
Rham Transport you have a long way to go to improve your customer service. I know you pay a cheap rate for a reason but realistically with customer service like that I don't think the cheap rate was worth the stress which was generated from getting you to move a small amount of items from Brisbane to Sydney.
We recently moved from Sydney to Adelaide. We would like to say a Big Thank you for their excellent service. Having gained a number of quotes before deciding, I found Rham Transport to competitive with other firms .The whole process was very smooth. All furniture and boxes arrived safely and there is no damage. From quoting on day one to final delivery on last day everyone conducted themselves in a very professional and friendly manner. The staff at Rham were very helpful and courteous, they responded promptly to my emails and phone calls even though it was the weekend. No issues at all to report. We were kept updated and informed of arrival and departure times. Would definitely recommend them.
Picture if you will the worst moving experience you've ever had, double it - and you're probably nowhere near as bad as these cowboys.
My partner and I were moving to Adelaide from New South Wales. We decided to move out, then store our stuff in Adelaide while we were on an overseas holiday for five weeks, before we returned and started in our life. Rahm told us they had storage facilities in Adelaide and that would be no problem.
2 days before our move they called saying they could not move us on the day we'd booked trip because of floods and we would have to reschedule. We told them we were actually out of the country in four days and we would need to find someone else. Miraculously, they were suddenly able to find a truck. After being told they would arrive in the afternoon, they failed to show. Repeated calls were answered with "the truck is on its way". 9pm at night they arrived, with a truck half full of someone else's stuff.
They were incredibly slow to the point where I had to tell them repeatedly to please move faster. My partner and I are in our 50s and we had to move the bulk of the stuff ourselves in 98% humidity. 3/4 of the way through the move the truck was full and they asked me "Which things do you want us to leave behind?" Huh? My partner got on the phone to the manager who said we had too many boxes and had to pay an excess if we wanted them to move the rest. It sounded like extortion to me.
We'd told them repeatedly we have a 3 bedroom house -- we didn't have that many boxes.. they had doubled up by picking up someone else's stuff - and charged us for the privilege! They were unable to return to pick up our stuff until after we left - which meant it was AFTER we'd vacated the property the day before the next tenant was to move in. I had to call another local removalist and have them on hold, just in case they didn't arrive. It was extremely stressful.
Fortunately they showed and collected our stuff -- but our distress wasn't over yet. When we arrived in Adelaide we found a place fairly quickly and asked them if we could collect our stuff from their storage facility. After spinning some lies about us not being able to access their 'removalist only' storage space in Adelaide, it eventually transpired that our stuff was in fact still in New South Wales. Somewhere.
They said they could only bring it on a certain day so we had to ask our new real estate if we could move in a day early. MIraculously they showed up, but the first thing they tried to deliver was a single mattress which wasn't ours. They also dropped off some bags that weren't ours. When we realised they didn't belong to us we contacted them and they said they would come and collect them soon. They never did, and then told us that they weren't missing any bags. Even though: 1. They're not ours! 2. They delivered them to us, after moving someone else. 3. Where did they come from then?
Much of our stuff smelt like mould and lot of bags were wet and we felt physically ill from the smell after we'd unpacked. I had to wash nearly all my clothes before I could put them away. Some of the furniture was scratched but I was surprised it wasn't worse.
In every dealing we had with them it was all about doing it their way and they spoke to us as if they were the customer. They were totally inflexible.
My partner chose Rahm because it was the cheapest, thinking their service had been vetted by a removalist website. It was not worth the stress and I'd have paid a $1,000 more to have even a reasonable moving experience. Please people, don't use this company - they're appalling.
The quote was very competitive with other companies, and on the whole went well.
The guys got the job done with no fuss and the company was able to be a bit flexible with the delivery time, which was great.
I would use them again as the experience ran quite smoothly,
I was a bit concerned when they carried my really heavy front loading washing machine down the stairs - they need a nice new 6 wheel fridge mover.
Rham Transport stepped in at the last minute to save me when my removalists cancelled less than 1 week before my move. The removalists were very professional and took great care when loading my house load of furniture. They showed up on time at my new home interstate and I had no breakages from the move.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to move.

My wife and I just moved from Canberra to Adelaide. Rham transport were an absolute pleasure to deal with. The logistics and care were excellent and the pickup team at both ends were polite and careful. I had some delicate woodwork items including a bookshelf and everything arrived exactly as we loaded it. What a fantastic service. Great value for money and great company to deal with. Thank you Rham Transport.
Believe the glowing 'reviews' left here and other sites at your own peril. They will have been posted by their extended family, because no company could conduct themselves so unprofessionally with me, yet be so amazing with other 'customers'.
Firstly-A bookcase containing drawers filed with valuables, did not arrive. They are very shifty, as they describe in their inventory the goods to be removed, in a way that is very vague-which paid off for them when I did get through and described the missing item. I spoke to a man who identified himself as Kang when I booked the job. Firstly he insisted it was delivered. Then my daughter who was there when the furniture was picked up, described the item, and 'Kang' stated that he would have a look and call back 'the next day'. That never happened, 2 text messages were ignored. When I called 'Kang' 3 days later, apparently there is another worker with an identical voice and the same mobile number, and his name as he told me, was 'Lee'. Of course 'Lee didn't know anything about what I was talking about and couldn't assist me. At that point, I knew I was dealing with dishonest, dishonourable scammers
Also furniture that did arrived was damaged around edges
They are not cheap, so no justification for any of this conduct. Kang and the rest of your business partners/owners if you're reading this, know that the universe doesn't let this behaviour pass without karma visiting you
Only one person(driver) came to deliver the goods of a 2-bed room house after 6 pm Sunday. Their agreement is for their own benefit only. No responsibility. Eager to grab the contract from the customer. Then no customer service at all. Beware of their delivery window condition. They took nearly a month to deliver our goods. Never ever recommend Rham transport to anyone.
I recently completed an interstate move with Rham Transport which was nothing short of deplorable.
They ask for an inventory list well in advance, and use that to their advantage come move day. I strongly recommend overestimating how many boxes you think you will fill with belongings. I undershot by 1 box, and Rham transport charged me $500 to add 1 small box to my inventory list.
For weeks after my belongings were due to arrive at the destination, I called Rham Transport to get an update on where my stuff was. On all 4 occasions I made this call, the customer service rep said "I will check with the team and get back to you in 5 to 10 minutes". Not once did they get back to me. My belongings ended up arriving almost 1 month late with little to no communication from Rham Transport.
Once my container arrived, we opened it up only to find that many of my belongings had broke due to some of the most negligent stacking of anything I have ever seen in my life. I have reached out to Rham Transport multiple times since then to be compensated for the damage they have caused to my belongings - only to be completely ghosted by them.
My experience with Rham Transport has been nothing short of awful. This is a shady moving company and I strongly recommend you do not engage with them in any way.
I booked their service from Melbourne to Sydney. Very incompetent with poor customer service. They only had to transfer couple of items of furniture (two cabinets) which they damaged and scratched. Their response was very negative without any consolation. They did not take any responsibility of the damage done.
Strongly recommend to DO NOT USE!
Rham Transport Boys were outstanding. The boys worked extremely hard and efficiently while taking care of our belongings. So impressed with the service we received from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to use Rham Removals again and would recommend to everyone. Thanks guys!
The movers were very slow and paid double the amount I was initially quoted.
They damaged the walls buy left scratch marks that now need repair.
They make you pay 10 minuets before the job is complete and in the last 10 minutes they quickly finish the job as opposes to the beginning where they move very slow and takes two removalist to carry very light items. very disappointed for the overcharge, damaging the walls.
Rham Transport has registered their account, so they will be able to see and respond to your reviews publicly.
